Dear Residents,

As part of our efforts to maintain a safe and vibrant community, we have started conducting weekly reviews of all patios, balconies, and hallways. These reviews help ensure that all residents are following our guidelines and that the hallways remain a safe and clear common area. Please take a moment to review the following guidelines that will help you maintain compliance:

Items Permitted on Balconies and Patios:

·  Outdoor furniture

·  Neatly arranged plants within the parameters of your balcony or patio

o   Plants must be kept in a planter or flowerpot under 20 lbs.

o   Planters or flowerpots must be on a drip tray to prevent water from dripping onto neighbors below

o   Plants should not be overwatered

o   Plants must not block egress or obstruct pathways in case of emergency

Restricted Items on Balconies and Patios:

·  Rugs, flags, towels, and clothing may not be hung up

·  No items (plants, lights, rugs, etc.) may be hung from or over the railing

·  Storage items may not be kept on balconies or patios as the space must remain unobstructed

·  Ring cameras, security devices, and additional doorbells are not permitted

·  Gas or electric grills

·  Plexiglass, privacy screens, or other materials that block visibility from the exterior are not permitted

Items Permitted in Hallway:

·  Middle Plaza- Issued Doormat

Restricted Items in Hallways:

·  Personal mats, shoes, plants, strollers, carts, or any other belongings may not be left outside your front door.

·  Ring cameras, security devices, and additional doorbells are not permitted

You will be notified if your balcony, patio, or front door area is not in compliance with the guidelines above.  After three courtesy notices, a lease violation will be issued. Failure to remedy a violation may result in belongings being removed and stored until they can be retrieved and relocated.

We understand that walkthroughs of these spaces were not previously implemented, and we recognize that adjusting to new processes can take time. Our goal is to ensure the safety and comfort of all residents by keeping these spaces clean and free of obstructions.
